The free tier
Framejet gives you 200 screenshots a month, free, with no credit card, and the free tier does not expire. Urlbox has no permanent free plan — 7-day free trial, no credit card. No permanent free plan.
At 5,000 screenshots a month
The cheapest Framejet plan that covers it is Starter, $9/month for 5,000 screenshots ($1.80 per 1,000). On Urlbox it is Hi-Fi, $49/month for 5,000 ($9.80 per 1,000).
What Urlbox also does
Comparison pages usually pretend the other product is worse at everything. These are things Urlbox advertises that overlap with, or beat, what Framejet offers:
- Long-running product with an enterprise tier
- Business and Enterprise plans for high volume
Pick Urlbox if you are buying at enterprise volume and want a vendor with a dedicated enterprise track and contract.
Reaching a page that takes a few clicks
To interact with a page before the capture, Urlbox takes CSS selectors and custom JavaScript: click, click_all, hover, scroll_to, wait_for, js. Read from their documentation on 20 September 2026.
Framejet takes selectors too — actions= — and when you know the page that is the better tool: deterministic, reproducible steps in one browser session. It also takes a goal in plain words for flows where the route or later controls cannot be named reliably in advance.
What Framejet does differently
Clean mode is the default
Cookie and consent overlays, sticky headers and live-chat bubbles are stripped before the capture, without a flag to remember. You opt out with clean=false, not in.
A remote MCP server
https://framejet.dev/mcp gives an AI agent the same capture engine on the same key and the same quota — no second integration.
Email is the account
No password, no dashboard to log into. Your key arrives by email and can be re-sent or rotated from the home page.
